Hyundai Motor India has launched its luxurious SUV, the new Alcazar facelift, on 9 September 2024. This three-row SUV is now available in a more attractive and stylish look than ever. Talking about its price, the starting ex-showroom price of the petrol model is ₹ 14.99 lakh, while the diesel model starts at ₹ 15.99 lakh. Alcazar had already reached the dealerships before the launch and its booking had also started at a token amount of ₹ 25,000.
There is a lot of discussion about this new SUV of Hyundai on social media too – and the biggest reason for this is the brand ambassador Shahrukh Khan , who has appeared with this car in a new TVC.

The 2024 Alcazar is now offered in even more stunning colour options – you will get stunning shades like Abyss Black Pearl, Atlas White, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Robust Emerald Pearl, Starry Knight and Titan Grey Matte.
The SUV is offered in four trims – Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. This SUV is available in both 6-seater and 7-seater layouts, making it a great option for both family and group travel.
Hyundai’s “Sensuous Sportiness” design philosophy is fully visible here. The new Alcazar has been given H-shaped LED DRLs, new grille, 3D Hyundai logo and wide silver finished skid plate, which gives it an aggressive and modern look.

A new twist in the body
The side profile also gets a slight change – new roof rails and dual-tone alloy wheels add a more robust exterior. At the rear, vertically stacked taillamps, LED light bar and a high mounted stop lamp with a new spoiler give it a sporty finish.
Premium touch in interiors, SRK swag
The interior of the SUV has also been in focus in the new TVC released with Shahrukh. The dual-tone theme of Noble Brown and Haze Navy gives a premium feel. It has two 10.25-inch screens – one for the fully digital instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system.
Apart from this, high-end features like dual-zone climate control, Bose sound system, panoramic sunroof, dual camera dashcam, air purifier with AQI index are present.
The driver’s seat is electrically adjustable and also has a memory function. The co-passenger seat also comes with electric adjustment. All the seats in the second row have been given winged headrests and entry and exit in the third row has been made easy. The 6-seater variant has captain seats while the 7-seater has a seat tumble function.
No compromise on safety
The new Alcazar now comes with Level-2 ADAS which includes 19 safety features. Apart from this, features like 6 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, vehicle stability management, hill start assist, 360-degree camera, blind spot assist and ISOFIX child seat mounts have been provided.
However, some of these will be available only in the top-spec variants. But the list of basic safety features is long – a total of 40 standard safety elements are present.

Power is the same old, trust in performance is the same old
There are no changes to the engine. The new Alcazar facelift will get the same 1.5L turbo petrol GDi engine that produces 160hp of power and 253Nm of torque. One is a 6-speed manual gearbox, which is great for those who like to control the car in their own way. The second is a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), which is known for fast and smooth gear changes, especially in city driving.
Now let’s talk about the diesel model. In this, you will get a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine, which gives a power of 116 horsepower and a torque of 250 Newton-meters. This engine gives the car a great combination of speed and power.
With this diesel variant also you get two gearbox options. The first is a 6-speed manual, which gives complete control of driving. The second is a 6-speed automatic, which is great for comfortable and easy driving, especially on long journeys.
